Tips we recommend to optimize your visual experience
1. Please tear off the protective film on the lens before using it.
2. Destek vr headset is compatible with your own glasses(smaller than 5.9 *2.4 inches), also there are two pupil distance buttons that can be adjusted to suit your needs.
3. Kindly note that the image quality depends on the app and your phone resolution. We suggest you choose the
720p or above app to play.
4. We have attached a QR code inside the VR headset lid, please scan the code to set up the relative parameter,
then the phone screen will automatically scale to the most suitable size that best fits the app, also please make sure that the app you play is the latest version.
5. Please make sure the Portrait Orientation Lock of your smartphone is off before inserting your phone into the headset.
6. We recommend wiping the lens on a regular basis.
Kindly note:
1. The frosted screen protector will affect image quality. Also please take off your phone case for the heat radiation.
2. Fog due to the temperature diffrence,also we designed the mask that can completely fits your face to avoid light leaking. Please take off the headset and wipe the lens when needed.
3. Please turn off the “Automatic Brightness Adjustment ” setting of the phone before putting it in the VR headset, and keep the phone at a brighter screen display condition can optimize the image quality.
We noticed that there is a recent iOS bug causing flickering/flashing screen.
To resolve it, here are solutions:
1. Turn your phone off and on.
2. Make sure your iOS and VR app is in the latest version or try to join the Apple beta program
If the issue persists, try another app and turn your phone off and on.
Please kindly note: This VR app flashing screen problem only happens on iOS, while android system doesn’t.
Maximum Supported Phone Size
The V5 headset is compatible with the phone size 5.5-6.8 inches, the maximum phone size is 163mm*83mm/ 6.41inches*3.26 inches (length*width) .
As screen-body ratio are not the same for each mobile phone, the maximum compatible phone screen is 6.8 inches while the length of the phone is no longer than 6.41inches.
Adjustable Headband
The adjustable T-shaped headband will fit different head sizes (both adults and children) and can reduce pressure around the face by adjusting the buckles on both sides. Appropriate nose cutout is designed with more spaces for your nose, and if there is a light leak, please adjust the head strap to the best position for a better sealing.
Compared to V4, DESTEK 5th generation VR headset reserved the room for wearing glasses when designing, making it suitable for the different needs of customers.
